WEETECH GmbH has been a leading developer and manufacturer of test systems for cable, component and function tests in the low and high voltage range for 50 years. Mr. Sezgün is no stranger to the electronics industry. The 42-year-old from Mannheim studied electrical and communications engineering and then began his professional career at HIMA Paul Hildebrandt GmbH in Brühl (Rhein-Neckar district). In the past 20 years he has held various positions there, mainly in sales and new business, both nationally and globally. He is familiar with the international establishment and expansion of new business and the coordination of global sales teams. Especially in the "Railway" business area, which is also an important pillar for WEETECH, he brings not only important know-how with him but also a comprehensive network.
The decision to move to WEETECH GmbH in Wertheim was not difficult for Mr. Sezgün: “I wanted to switch to a company that is close to the markets I am familiar with, is itself a manufacturer and developer of products and has a lot of growth potential. It is very important to me that there are employees who identify with the company. From what I've gotten to know about the company so far, I find many similarities here."
In his future position, he would like to further exploit the existing potential together with Martin Gehrig and make the company even better known and more successful internationally. Sedat Sezgün explains: “WEETECH has very good products and services that can continue to be successfully placed in various markets/sectors. The reputation is very good, there are some long-term business relationships and the growth of recent years also reflects the success.”
Martin Gehrig adds: “WEETECH has an excellent basis and still a lot of potential for further success. The trends in the market, keywords e-mobility and modernization of the railways, also play into our hands. We will seize the opportunities and continue the WEETECH success story together.”
