The jubilarians were treated to a festive meal and a convivial evening, and their many years of service to the company were honoured with small gifts and certificates. "The jubilarians come from all departments and each of them contributes significantly to the success of the company," says Managing Director Martin Gehrig.
In addition to the managing directors, the division and department heads as well as the human resources managers were also present. In this way, the merits of each jubilarian were once again personally acknowledged.
The 20 jubilarians look back on a total of 460 years of operation.
The following were awarded
Esther Barczyk, Damiano Fanelli and Klaus Furchner for 10 years,
Detlef Jörg, Torsten Fischer, Franz Hefner, Martina Wiedmann, Bernd Winzenhöller, Rudi Hengl, Patrick Zwerger, Matthias Klein and Ulrike Sigel for 20 years,
Volker Berberich, Ingrid König and Frank Nitsch for 25 years and Burkhard Stenke for 30 years of employment.
Peter Riegel, Roland Hengl and Klaus Sack were honoured as the longest-serving employees with 35 years each and Uwe Wiesenberg with 40 years.
"In this day and age, it is rare to find employees who stay with a company for so long and grow with it," says Sedat Sezgün, Managing Director of WEETECH GmbH. "WEETECH benefits from all the knowledge and experience that these employees have been bringing to their areas for years and passing on to new colleagues.
"We are glad that we were finally able to give our jubilarians this evening of honour. Unfortunately, we had to postpone some honours during the "Corona years"," explains Isabell Staubitz, the company's HR manager, "so it's all the nicer that it has worked out now!"
This year, WEETECH itself is celebrating its 50th anniversary and next year there will be more employees who will be honoured for their loyalty and commitment.
