Force

At WEETECH, the term force is used for the load line of a generator.

It connects both terminals of a generator via the test points and the adaption to the connection points in the unit under test (UUT).

The force wire constitute resistivity and transition resistance, which can be disregarded in normal measurement, ranges (> 10 Ohm). Only in case exact determinations of resistances are necessary, e.g. in a component test, together with every force wire an additional sense wire needs to connect the measurement units with the measurement points (see four-terminal measurement).
