The Test Systems for Special Requirements

The W 454 HV and W 454 SHV Test Systems test with voltages up to 5,100 VDC / 3,600 VAC which prepares them for future challenges in the railway industry and in the automotive industry.


These test systems allow for continuity tests in the mOhm range, insulation measurements in the Giga-Ohm range as well as the measurement of components like resistors, capacitors, inductors and relays—ideal for tests of cables and harnesses in drive technology of highly-developed railway vehicles like high-speed trains as well as in the constantly growing area of e-mobility.

High performance for special requirements

  • Programmable power/current supplies with up to 3 A and up to 5,100 VDC / 3,600 VAC
  • Various generators for high current applications up to 25 A available
  • Integration of high voltage generators with 500 VA and more enable test applications according to DIN EN 50343 (Railway applications—Rolling stock—Rules for installation of cabling)
