WEETECH celebrates 50th anniversary with big summer party

WEETECH is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Since its foundation in 1973, the company, which specialises in electronic test systems, has established itself as a globally active company and currently employs 125 people worldwide, around 100 of whom work at the Wertheim site. Last Friday (21.07.2023), the management thanked its employees with a big anniversary celebration.

Last Friday, a big anniversary party for all employees with partners and families took place on the premises of WEETECH GmbH in Wertheim-Bestenheid. Also present were colleagues from Asia, Italy, the Netherlands and the USA.

"We are very happy that we were able to celebrate this half century of "success" together with the entire team in this beautiful setting. This gave us the opportunity to say thank you once again for our commitment over the past decades," shared Managing Directors Sedat Sezgün and Martin Gehrig.

WEETECH presented itself to the families with an extensive programme. There were guided tours of the company, including one especially for young guests, a WEETECH museum where products from the past and present were on display, various test stations with products for the automotive, aerospace and industrial sectors, and an extensive WEETECH quiz.

From a culinary point of view, the guests were spoilt from the afternoon until late in the evening with cakes, an ice cream van, a barbecue buffet and a cocktail bus.

"It's great that so many of our colleagues accepted the invitation and that we were able to celebrate this occasion with a total of 250 people," Martin Gehrig is pleased to say, "this also reflects once again the solidarity with the company."

WEETECH GmbH has been a leading developer and manufacturer of test systems for cable, component and function tests in the low and high voltage range for 50 years. Its customers include well-known companies from the automotive, railway, aerospace and mechanical engineering industries.
