On April 1st, 2023, Sedat Sezgün will replace the current interim managing director Bernd Härtlein and will manage the business of WEETECH GmbH together with Martin Gehrig.

In October of last year, Halma PLC acquired all shares in WEETECH GmbH. Since the takeover, Martin Gehrig, Managing Director Administration, Production and Development, and Bernd Härtlein, Interim Managing Director Marketing and Sales, have managed the company's fortunes. From April, Sedat Sezgün will take over the helm in marketing and sales, thus completing the permanent dual leadership.

Halma plc (HLMA.L) has acquired 100% of WEETECH Holding GmbH with effect from 4 October 2022. The takeover took place in connection with the age succession of the company. As a transitional measure, PINOVA Capital GmbH held a majority stake in order to secure the future of WEETECH Holding GmbH. All shares have now been sold to Halma plc (Halma).
